All auto settings on camera.
Lighting was a lamp on the right and natural light through a basement window on the left.
Editing in ACDSee & PSP7: Auto levels, brightness, crop, sharpen, gamma, blackpoint, desat, edge preserver, salt & pepper, border, re-size.
Thanks very much to my awesome husband for posing!
Should not have included the paint can and hammer. I was trying to portray the elements of his work and other laborers that have been frustrating to deal with for the past year and a half. Of all my challenge entries this is THE one that I wish I could re-shoot - I'd definitely remove the paint and hammer!

| I like the idea and the mood that this image projects, but I am not putting the various elements together very well. I understand the rifle and the feeling of dejection, but I am missing the point of the paint and hammer. Nice image and good mood for the challenge. I can't wait to read your photographer's comments for the rest of the story. |
