| I really like the close cropping used in this shot. I would have liked to see a little more of the handmade gun and horn though - you spoke about them lot's but they don't grab my attention in the photo. The colour is great and the background is good. Using an older subject definitely helps meet the subject "The Past". |

| This is a lovely photograph - I especially like the way it's taken against the stacked firewood, a perfect background for the tone you're creating. The wrap is an especially nice touch, drawing the eye back to the man rather than letting attention wander too randomly about. |

| composition, color, focus, DOF are all good...he has such a great character about him, just sitting and passing the time of day...well done |

| My personaly favorites. I love the old HBC stories and tales. Love the blanket and have one just like it. Good shot, good model. |
