 backyard campfire light at night. I will be zapped because my light source is the subject, but I thought it was cool.

Van, this is so cool to see an angel in the fire. I saw it right away during the voting. Some people just don't take the time to really look at pictures. I remember one that Caba had a long time ago that was a face in the steam coming out of a geyser at Yellowstone - so few people saw the face.

I see your point, but I don't know that I would have looked hard enough without your title: cropping the image to make that shape more obviously the centre of attention might have helped.

Fire is not an artificial light source, as the challenge states. Cool shape you caught though.

Sharp focus is lacking throughout here. To capture a sharp flame a fast shutter speed is essential, enabled by using a high ISO
