Hey there from the Critique Club
Camera Work/Technical: Nice focus, but I think that I'd like to see the background blur a bit. The reds look a little over-saturated, but easily remedied with a bit of post-processing.
Lighting: You picked a perfect time of day. The lighting is nice and even, with no harsh shadows. I think that the sky would have benefited from a graduated natural density filter, as it lost a little detail.
Composition/Content: Great choice for the challenge and very humorous. I think it would have fared better with a slightly tighter crop.
My Opinion: I like it, and I think you went outside the envelope to meet the challenge very well. I think it scored pretty close to its potential, but with some slight changes, would have done even better.
Eric

This is pretty funny. Should have scored better. Maybe next time cut down those trees and wait for the perfect sunset. Apparently you need those for "architecture" shots. :P

Nice find, but the white balance is a touch off, or everything is red. Doesn't hold clear appeal to me, but a differnt angle would have been stronger. |

Hehehehee. Nice title and I love the juxstaposition of the shack and Buckingham Palace. The Queen is probably going through rough times huh?
The building in itself is simple. The textures lend to an old feel of a time long lost. The setting is appropriate for this image so a sense of place is established. Except for that huge branch on the upper left corner serving as a slight distraction, I have to admit that this is great in its own right. |

Very cute. This one cracked me up. Says something about the humor of the person who either lives here or uses it as a hideaway. |

Oversharp? I wonder from the upper left roof. Could be wrong about that. The sky and trees unfortunately don't add a lot. Could have tried a double RAW conversion. Cute title. 6 |

Truly "Beauty is in the Eyes of the Beholder"...for those who have eyes to see it. And I do see the beauty!!!! Thanks for sharing it! :)
Just a bit more contrast between subject (house) & background (trees) and it would have been a 10 from me. However, I give you an 8 over-all. |
