Excellent job capturing the flame. I've always had poor results so I'm glad to see one done this well.

Nice job. I love fire and this meets the challenge nicely. Very sharp flames and logs. Good job, I gave it a 7

Neg space makes me want to know what is there in the darkness!

Very nice. Not sure if you wanted the flaring effect from the hotspots, but metering on the brightest spots would probably have eliminated some of that. I personally find that it takes away from the real flames, but others (and you) may well like it more than not. One of the standouts this challenge, for sure. Good luck.

Excellent concept and use of negative space to portray your image.

This is beautiful. You can almost imagine the group of people sitting just outside the range of the fire's light. The star effect on the light and the shapes of the flames are really striking. Nice job!

Amazing. I love the light from the small holes. However, just the tiniest niggle... That 'grill' that I see on the right, it's a little off putting. Perhaps it could have been cropped off?
