A wooden shipyard building taken in silhoutte and converted to greyscale using channel mixer. The image was then inverted and the color and tones added with channel mixer again, adding red and yellow to midtones and highlights.

I was hoping to concentrate on the architectural lines and shapes and by splitting the image at half way point rather than the more usual 33% I hope it adds strength. We'll see!

This appears to be leaning to the left. The colors aren't very complimentary.

The negative image loses much of the architectural details. This isn't really working overall for me.

Use of the negative image is interesting here - definitely highlights the shapes.

Is it inverted? I don't like it.

Ho, brave. A negative image outside the negative image challenge. Scandal! Unfortunately it's a bit boring in composition and the negative aspect doesn't add a ton (well, I guess the black background is better than white). 5

The thumbnail is elegant. But as it gets bigger there is not quite enough entertainment in the image to capture my attention.

I think this would look better if not inverted. Go with the normal looking shot.

Not too sure about the effect
