Nothing wrong with a picture featuring a cat but you can be certain that many voters will question the room being empty since very little of it is included in the composition. The shadows are harsh and their blue tones are very unnatural looking. The cat himself looks very flat and dark. It is almost as if the cat is suffering from the use of out-of-gamut colors where the detail is lost and the comes out darker unrealistic colored substitution colors. Or you may have went overboard with color adjustments. That is easy to do as well. |

Does not give me any hint of an empty room. Needs a larger view. |

Love your kitty!!! Maine Coon? I have 4 MCs! I just don't get the sense of "EMPTY-ROOMNESS" in this... |

Kind of a flat room wouldn't you say? Something doesn't look right with the cat's fur - like the processing (curves, levels adjustment) dumped the details. Was it underexposed and brought up? Color balance is off a bit also (too cool - getting blue cast). 4 |

More about the window than a room. We have no way of knowing if your room is empty, it looks fairly furnished from here. You also should be aware that pictures of the cat/dog/kid if not done for a specific effect score badly on DPC because they're seen to be "snapshots" |

This looks like a cat in the window - where is the empty room? |

Difficult lighting, the shadows spoil the effect and the cat looks to be over processed. |

I do not feel the emptiness of the room because such a small part of it is shown. |
