Greetings from the Critique Club! :)
I really like this image...great mood, great sense of forboding (is that a word?) and wonderful processing. I think that compositionally, it would be sronger if you were not in the center of the frame. Moving to your left and being more in the dark with perhaps just a bit of light on your face might have made it stronger, and perhaps earned a few more tenths of a point. It does have great potential and I think that if you continue to shoot in that location you will really come up with something fabulous.
Keep shooting and let me know if you have any questions! :)
Take care,
Laurie |

Nice use of light and dark to set the mood. I wonder if cropping off the right side would make it more dramatic and take the man out of the center of the frame. It would also let you get closer to him (more detail). There does appear to be more than one light source (coming down the hall). |

A very interesting image, although from my perspective the cropping will cost you. You might have considered cropping the image immediately to the right of the man's left shoulder. |

I'm counting at least 3 light sources there. I don't feel this meets the challenge requirements. Your subject is too centered. The pros-processing is over done. Blah, blah, blah.
LOL! Just kidding! I haven't submitted a picture to a challenge in months because I'm tired of people voting like that. People get so tunnel-visioned here that they don't appreciate the picture for what it is. I think this picture is great. Can't find a thing wrong with it. Nice work. |

I would of given you a high mark on this, but the challenge is 'single light source. I see at least two.
Nice comp maybe a tighter crop, great light (not for this challenge), great texture, nice movement, nice dof, nice lines |

I like the pp here and the focus isnt too soft. I'm not crazy about the model looking up at the light. I think had he been looking down or to the oppsosite side you could have really brought out some interesting shadows in his facial features. |

Love this type of shot. Looks like a real spooky place. I would have liked to seen a different crop so the model isn't centered but otherwise nicely done and cool processing. |
