Post Challenge Comment: I agree with the last comment about most people not "getting" this image. Apple was the Beatles and the Beatles were Apple Label. I guess there were too many young people who didn't know that. Also, I was a bit surprised and fairly disappointed how many "photographers" wanted a literal interpretation of my image. All the "I don't SEE her..who is HER..etc" wanted to make me barf...still does.

Regardless of the Beatles connection, this is a very fine image which I find pleasing to look at more than once.

Ah... now I get the Apple... I definitely knew that Beatles were the Apple Label it just didn't cross my mind when I was voting on this shot. I still rated mostly on the image though... so I didn't give you a terrible score if that came across in my comments.

It's a shame most people didn't get the Apple reference. This is WAY better than a 5.4 image.

Interesting choice to use an apple. I'd be interested in hearing why? Is it in the lyrics? I can't seem to remember that... I might have leaned towards a silver spoon perhaps. Also why is there an apple in the bathroom? I'm really not seeing your meaning in this photo.

Very nice shot! I even like the selective desat in this instance. It works vey well! Love how you can't tell if the shot is grainy or if it's just the textures at play. Don't see how it fits the title and as such the challenge though...

Most of the time I don't like photos with black and white and one coloured thing, but sometimes I do. Like this one. Excellent shot.

Think the figure through the window is a bit too out of focus to make sense. If not for the title, I'd say this is a shot of an apple. Nice apple though :)
