 I went into my gazebo in my backyard, hoping to find some interesting insects to shoot, and instead I stumbled upon this, hiding beneath a pile of leaves. Unfortunate, yes, showing just how fragile life can be.

I am not sure what should be unexpected here, the picture is very small and the white line through the claws destroys the effect.

Composition needs help - most of the bird's body is cropped out.

Would have liked to see more of the dead bird. I feel like the photo is just missing that portion and leaves trying to look for more.
