::: Critique Club :::
Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.
First Impression - the most important one:
I think that you have taken on well the comments received ... and the overall improvement is really good.
Subject:
Meets the challenge ... is definately a take two.
Composition:
You have tow extremely good vertical thirds lines going here .. and changing the direction for the hand really makes a more complete shot .. taking into account the line and the body to the line of the flass. Also the glass appears to be cleaner ... (I am fussy about dirty glasses) :) ...
Technical (Colour and light):
I am not sure about the black and white .. and I think that the warm skin tones and white wine would have been beneficial .. but I know from the last shot that was hard to achieve ... the first shot being toned quite yellow ... but I still think this is a great job .. is that a reflection of the photographer in the glass .. if so the way it was executed the first time didn't have this .. I just noticed though and I gave it a nine.
To grow its vote?:
I think now combine the best of both shots .. take into account the white wine .. the left side for the hand .. and doing it in colour ... what you think?
Summary:
Great work ... you are very vey talented .. and a great out of the box thinker.

I thought I recognized you, Judi! LOL Nicely done, if not hastily done. I think Rikki may be right about color. Maybe colored water and lights behind the glass. And some water drops. And could you move yer butt outta the frame. ;-) heehee just goofin. |

I am trying to understand the title and now I think I have it. Are you trying to juxtapose the glass against the softness of the body or is it the hands? I'm not certain but this is indeed a nice study in the human form. |
