I think I would have tried cropping out the background to see if it improved the picture.

Hahahaha...one of the few kid pictures I like...very cute. Maybe you should have titled it Monster from the Blue Lagoon. I think you lost a little too much detail in the trees and scene in the background, though.

Upper part of picture is rather dark. Cropping just the girl would've been enough. Great summer shot.

I don't know how you got that background so dark with that foreground so bright, but yeah...its a bit too dark. Cool kid thoguh...looks like it could an ad or post card from some Florida family getaway.

Exposure looks a little odd with the dark background, i guess you used flash. 6

Cool idea but I think there's been overuse of the graduated filter. Love the composition but the background is lost under the overexposure.
