 My youngest daughter.

I use GIMP for editing my pictures.
It is free and I think it works similar to PS.
The picture was wery dark because of the lights in the room where not good enough. It is in my opinion better to take a bit darker photos then to have them all shaken.
When I got home I selected my girl with a tool that enables selecting shapes.
After the selection I adjusted levels for only the selection.
In that way my girl got better lighting and contrast. Disadvantage is that the picture gets a bit grainy. Also because of the distance and high ASA.
This is improved with NeatImage.

Thanks for a unique visual experience. I will bookmark this in My Favorites since I always want to hone my skills with candids and since our only child will be three in September. Shanna began gymnastics around her second birthday, and I would like to be able to give her a photo of this nature one day as she increases her skills.
Would you mind preparing a "How Did They Do That?" guide for me? Thanks in advance. :) Stan
