| I think this is a good choice of a summertime subject but the exposure on this one seems to be a bit off... the lighting from the left may be a tad strong... |

| I think the composition could have been more pleasing had the background been more interesting and less commonplace, but I like the image design, as well as, your cropping and angle-of-view. I also find your colors to be off and the lighting to be too harsh. Your subject certainly meets the challenge requrements as it portrays a common summer pastime. |

| I think if you focused more on the grill it would help. The background is kind of ugly with the dying flowers. I think the coals are the strong point, you might have tried to highlight them more. Perhaps a lower camera angle as well. |
