Exposure compensated +0.3 steps and used shutter priority. Replaced camera shadow with another fan to improve composition. Added a scroll due to a comment that I needed at least one thing in focus, and the scroll served that purpose. Reduced noise in two ways. First, lengthened the exposure time, and then applied neat image. Adjusted brightness and contrast and also changed color tone from the original purple to one that was very close to the original. Also had to adjust color balance to cyan to make it even more like the original. Had to straighten pic both vertically and horizontally. Cloned out a gap on the right side of the image because I received a comment that asked what was happening in the right margin. Also spot edited a few scratches which were distracting. Burned in the fan better and using layers extracted the scroll and sharpened it by itself. Resized, sharpened and saved at 96 dpi.

You got robbed! ROBBED! This is MUCH better than a 5.4 image! I'd be very proud of it if it were mine. I gave it an 8.

ooh lovely mysteriousity! a bit too blue for my taste--i'd like it better with the colors more muted.

The shadows are great - I think they'd work better if tighter cropped. All that busy stuff on the left dilutes the effect, and cropping so the black bar runs off the bottom would eliminate the distracting brightness at the bottom.
