Im gonna get butchered for shoehorning. But it really was unexpected. Talk about jumping the fence! I went all Notting Hill for this photo. LOL

I wish this was Advanced Editing, this so screams for some extra processing. :)

I'd be curious to see a cropped version, if you're interested in doing one :)

This photo seems a bit under exposed in most areas. The lamps come across as blobs of blown-out light and they don't feel balanced. The large area of light reflecting on the tree in the upper left weights the photo unevenly and the patch of blue sky at the top corner doesn't relate well to the rest of the image. Maybe a different crop would improve the framing but I suggest using a slower shutter speed and a tripod to brighten things up.

Not bad, I think this might have been more effective if you were looking from the light towards the dark, but I understand if the fireflies didn't show from that angle.

i love gardens. a tighter crop would make the viewer focus on the garden more; cut out the sky and leave the darkness. oohh.

lovely

In my opinion a much tighter crop, both top and left side, would help this. Because of the streetlight I first assumed the others were some other form of artifical lighting until I read the title. Removing the light would also leave the leaves glowing almost magically without the bright distraction.
It's not a bad shot, and I think it could be reallly nice :) And I'm jealous, I've never seen a firefly :(

without the title thie picture would be worthless
it just doenst work out
its pretty
but its nothing special
maybe try to make your subject more like...noticable?, its hard to look at this picture and see the fireflies
the depth is nice
