 This is nothing more than another starving artist image of fact versus fancy. It is more wishing and hoping. I was a starving artist.

The big meal is cut out and pasted behind a screen. Backlighting was employed to help the shadow.

this is good, Dan! Some of the commentors felt that the photo is humorous, which I think is true, but my personal take is, it felt a little sad, because it is like the diner is hoping he could have a better meal instead of the bread and canned sardine on his table. Good and creative take (as usual!)

Took me a while to get this one

The straightforward contradiction between the still life and shadow make this fun

Nice capture of the colours and tones in the still ife.

Just feel that this may be a little too subtle for the 10 second brigade�
