Greetings from the Critique Club Scott!
I usually look at the title before viewing the shot. When I first read it I thought, "Okay, not a creative title" as it was copied from the challenge description. Boy was I wrong. This is a very creative title for a very creative "capture" (excuse the pun). I'm quite fond of acidic looking shots so you won't find much in this one that I disagree with. I think the post processing was great fit.
The overblown pole on the left is a bit of a distraction. I don't think it would be as much so if a small part of the pole was cropped out. The top right is a bit blown out as well but I think it works with the angle to give me an almost voyeuristic approach.
Overall a great image and congrats on your 2nd best score.
Thanks for the opportunity to critique this image Scott.
Cheers - Phil

This is by far the most innovative interpretation of the challenge I have seen thus far. You truly have captured the shadow, and have also managed to convey a message that women are often captives of their environment.
Very well done. |

Definitely unique! Like the color. Good capture getting the shadow in a cage. On the downside, the pole on the left draws my eye to it being as bright as it is. Still, on my top 10 so far. (8) |

This is a fantastic idea, too bad the the left is a little burned out. |

I like the idea, and the blown-out highlights add a kind of 'surveillance' feel to the image, which adds some drama. Overall, perhaps just a bit too fantasy and unlikely a situation for my taste - I find it kind of emotion-free and meaningless, but I'm with the goove of it, certainly. |

Nice choice of color and angle. They both work really well with this photo. |

LOL I love it!! I don't think it is the best photo I've ever seen, but the interpretation is priceless! Very creative, indeed. |
