Smart shapen and adjustment levels where used to clean up the photo
I am trying to improve over my last submission. This week (although a bit late) I tried to play with some lighting. But I realize I need ALOT more practice.

My wife is a knitter and I understand very well the notion of indulging in yarn. Those who do not have a kniting connection may not feel the indulgence of this. In the case of your photo, it feels very bright to me. Did you use a flash? If so, I think it overpowered the photo and especially washed out some of the rich detail in the cat's face which would have added a lot of interest to the photo. I usually have better luck with natural light or an external flash which gives you more control. Good luck.

I simply love the colours on display here. I am very unsure about the focus, but since I have no suggestion as to how it could be different :), it wont drag this down. 8 from me already, I just had to come back to comment.

Aww, looks like my kitty! Would have been better if he was actually playing with the yarn and his face was more towards the camera.
