 Half Dome at Yosemite National Park.
I just bought my new camera the day before. Still learning how to use it.
I'm currently driving cross country. I should be in Grand Teton and Yellowstone by morning. I didn't think I'd find wireless to be able to submit my photo. Not too much editing, just cropped it a little, sharpened a little, and played with the levels a tad. Back to driving.

3 - Difficult, but more definition and light in the 'frame' and perhaps overall the colors tweaked for added depth and drama, make this better in my opinion. Depending what was there, more 'frame' incorporated bottom/bottom left as well.

The cloud is interesting. The frame is weak. This was evening with the color.
I like it. The valley position with the trees is a great idea.

May have been more effective if the mountain was more in focus.

The trees form a nice frame and the bottom part of the mountain are nicely exposed, however the dome itself seems a bit over exposed.

Framing is great. Sky good. Half Dome very well positioned but lighting on it looks a bit bright and front on maybe.

great find, I would have moved over to the left abit to get more of the mountain in frame. Also your colors seem abit off, the mountain is abit too yellow. Just some suggestions.
