I like all of the lines and angles of this shot - plus the light & dark play of shadows. I'm sure you'll get a wide range of opinions on this one, as it breaks a lot of rules. But hey, rules were made to be broken, right?!? :-) I think it works well here. |

i like the POBV here but the first thing i noticed was the odd line on the thigh where the top half of thigh is lighter then theres a line and the bottom half of the thigh is darker. thats a bit distracting, and its has more noise than the farther shot but not bad overall. |

OK so this is where you learn that we all have different opinions .. I really love this shot ... it works that you have created a much less distracting background through changing your angle ... it works that the boy is centred .. and I don't normally like centered shots at all ... in addition the light on the carpet is lovely .. the patterns enhanced ... I hope you don't mind I did a minor recrop to correct things like the kiddy centred .... might see a different way ....
Removes the centring and the line of light ... but also keeps the air of mystery on what he is looking at. PS I really liked you other shots as well.

this one seems noisy but i am not sure if that is intentional. those leaves are poking in again. I like the pose. seems very sad to not be outside. |

not diggin this one quite as much a 2 and 3, I think the point of view is working against you, and the centrally placed subject leave you kinda flat, while the bench seat detail is drawing attention away from the point. |
