Shot in Florence while on vacation. Tried a couple different aperture/shutter settings, but non came out as nicely as this. Kind of unfortunate, becuase I think it would be a little crisper stopped down to f/5.6 or f/8...

Hi James, I think you captured this at the right time of day as the warm evening really lights up the bridge and main buildings. Looking at the ripples in the water I think you did well to get the reflection a clear as this. Did you you use a polarisor? (the sky is darker on the left than right and it doesn't look as if the sun was 45d to you).

For me its not a 'wow' image but a great memory from your break (maybe even a travel guide shot). As for the sharpness F/3.5 is pretty shallow but the bridge looks fine, maybe try a little unsharp mask if you are unhappy with sharpness?
