I like photographing waterfalls, although I rarely go beyond a half second for expsure.

I used a stack of ND8 filters to do this one. Postprocessing: WB correction (ND filters weren't neutral), curves, shift yellows toward green and desaturate, USM for contrast, resize, USM for sharpness, save "for web".

Very nice. A little bit blown out at the top.

Even with an ND8 filter, this still had to be a late evening/morning capture. Nicely captured, although I would have liked to have seen more of the water at the bottom of the falls. Nice image.

Maybe little wider crop would have been better.

I am a huge fan of this type of waterfall image. Like this image a lot. Color and water motion nice, sharpness so so yet shows amazingly little movement during the longer exposure. I would have expected more water motion for an exposure that long but like the result.

Mmm, I know what you mean, having used ND8 in some of my outtakes and in waterfall shots at other times. I quite like the nice generally-even lighting on this (i.e. no particular "hot spots" of foliage with the rest being quite dark), well visualised and composed.
