This was one of my favorite shots. I suppose it could've been cropped a bit more at the bottom, but still, it fairly shots "desolation."

Sad image. I think I would have liked it more with less space at the bottom. Very nice tho. 8

I like the angle but the curb line and roof line really draw the eye away and cut the image off.

How sad! I think it could be improved with less foreground. Note: On second look, a very moving picture improve to 8

The subject is to centered. I would crop it a little. Maybe some extreme Joey postprocessing could ad some drama to it.

Would have liked this better (maybe) if you took one or two more steps closer to the subject, just seems to be a bit far away, and thats increased by the fish eye effect

Has the makings of a great picture. I would have zoomed or cropped in closer on the homeless person.

You've captured desolation through destitution very well. And there's cold comfort on that concrete. Here's hoping things never get that tough for any of us. :(

Great pic!

Perspective here is fantastic. Composition wise, maybe I'd have had the subject a little less central (perhaps more forward?) but hey - what do I know!

Homeless hopelessness. Outside society is a form of desolation. Nicely photographed.
