I'm literally choked up. I was that little girl. Great job.

I like it how the area of focus isolates the foreground girl and how the out of focus background leaves just enough detail to express her mood / expression. Light is good and fits the scene well.

Shunned, ignored, and despised all come to mind. But desolation is further down the top-of-the-mind list. An advertizing company exec would not say this is desolation, if he or she had contracted you to take a photo to depict or evoke feelings of desolation. I would say it is a nice photo well composed, though. 8.

I'm not sure it qualifies as desolation but I like it.

The little girl in the foreground has a great expression, the two in the back are almost too much dof/blur and almost get lost in the wall.

This is very good, my main critisism would be the black line going straight through her head, just an inch or two higher viewpoint would have made all the difference
