this image is made all the better by the layered clouds.

Wonderful shot, has a great sense of scale.
I have really enjoyed your Yosemite series, they have got me very enthusiastic as I will be coming over to States (from the UK) in September and spending some time in Yosemite :)
Wonderful images, keep up the good work ;o)

Amazing image captured here. Has all the elements. The sky is great, the view is wonderful, and the waterfall is a perfect touch. Love it.

Once again a great range of tones. What an awesome area to photograph and you have done a great job with this one.

Beautiful...I like the lighting, the strong BW tones, and the composition...Now if only there were a figure standing on the cliff ;) Great shot.

This is great...the vastness is well handled.

I like the composition ... and I don't think you need someone on that ledge. People in landscapes are there to give a sense of scale ... and there is no need for that in this picture. I think that the haziness of the waterfall area detracts from the image.

This has a nice classic feel to it. If I saw this hanging somewhere I'd probably think it was shot with film. I can't really explain it since it looks like you did use neatimage on it.

great shot, but I agree that the cliffs in the foreground could use some brightening.

What a gorgeous view! Love the slightly "misty" look. The rock outcropping on the left really adds a sense of perspective.

Breathtaking view. This one seems a little dark to me in the earth portion and a little light in the cloud portion, causing a little loss of detail/contrast - although that may be an artistic choice. It's a spectacular shot nonetheless.

Very interesting photo. What a beautiful view. Nice job framing the whole shot. It has a very nice atmosphere.

Quite breathtaking, with a perfect mix of elements including cumulus and altostratus clouds, close focused (and perfectly composed) and far focused rocks, and water with other elements. Very beautiful.

I can imagine a photographer with tripod on the overlook end (teetering perhaps to add drama).... You need to take two cameras and two tripods up there next time, Rikki (perhaps a mule to help out).

this one looks sort of flat overall to me. seems to need slightly more contrast maybe. but it minimal. i think the cliff sticking out of the left hand side adds a lot.

isn't this from the top of half dome? if so i have a picture of me hanging from that overlook--but the picture isn't nearly as incredible as this one. I love it. These pictures could easily be hanging up in someone's house.

amazing image, i like the waterfall. i think the only little flaw is the blown out clouds, but that is ok.

now had you gotten a shot of yourself standing on the edge of the overlook it would really be awesome! As it - it's very good....but I really want to see someone standing on the rock point
