 This started as an attempt to get nice, smooth, regular pendulum motions by swinging a laser pointer from a string attached to the ceiling. Because of the way I'd mounted the laser (about 30 degrees off plumb in a heavy spring clamp), the motion was anything but regular.

Didn't do much beyond cropping and processing of the RAW image to drop out the sensor noise in the background.

Jackson Pollock on Red Bull. I'm not sure what the center object is but that definitely does add a bit of intrigue to the image.

Maybe filling the frame would have worked better? Still a nice pattern.
