Congratulations on your first 6 - woo hoo - feels great huh?. This is a nice shot with attractive composition. I voted it a 7. It's incredible how many "constructive" comments you received on this - I believe some voters were perhaps a bit picky but it's great to receive substantive comments (whether you agree with the opinions expressed or not). Good job and congratulations.

BTW - where are the "Mice"? - hee hee! Couldn't resist! ; )

Mice motion! I'm not sure the white patches do anything to enhance the scene, but good clarity on the bike.

This could've been a great shot. If only it had been a little closer to the suject, and without that barrier in the foreground.

Weird effect. Is that a guardrail in the foreground? The way this is composed you almost get the feeling that there is a mini biker riding on it. It disturbes the balance of the composition.
Good lock on the biker though, nice pan.

Nice blur action here. The composition bothers me a little since the guard rail blocks where the tire meets the road, and is too high to give the illusion that he is riding on top of the rail.

Nice pan, but I'd give the cyclist a bit more prominence. The black thingie loos obstructing. Also - some unwanted curvature, easily corrected.

I really like the sharpness in the biker. Not perfect, but very good. What pushed this to a 9 for me was the cropping - the long horizontal really emphasizes where he's going with all of that speed.

Good depiction of motion while keeping the subject in focus. The crop is ok but I feel it could have been better. I think in this case a much tighter crop would have worked better. I do like the idea with this crop however, the break in the trees which produced that white spot is a bit of a distraction. If that was all green the crop would work perfectly. Just my opinion though.
