Great idea. IMHO there are a couple of things would make this more interesting. I would have cropped top of the cat so the glass and white block are not visible. The reflection in the broken mirror is a little distracting, and I would have liked to see a better angle on the cat, maybe from a lower level since the angle does not do justice to such a beautiful animal. |

The subjects are very good, and I know cats are HARD to catch still and cooperative, but the scratched wood and the objects in background are very distracting. Also, avoid onboard flash for anything more than fill if at all possible. Definitely meets challenge, tho'! Hope the tips help :) |

I think with that amount of glass broken, it's only gonna be 7 days bad luck. The flash makes this picture's lighting harsh. |

Less flash more natural light |

Looks too snapshot like, there's random stuff in the back, harsh lighting bringing the floor to an intensly bright part of the picture, and the mirror isn't showing anything great either. I would say to... well, maybe to get the cat to look at you or maybe into the mirror, darken the photo, don't include such a conrasty scene, outside would have been great, even on some old steps, or something like that. |

if the mirror were shattering I would have given a higher score I think, or if it were shattered on the floor |

Don't care for this image, the blown out light on the cats head is distracting, and the colours may have a stronger feel in sepia or b/w. If you could have captured the cats face in the mirror I think it would have been much stronger. |

teh lighting is a little harsh and it would helped to use a mirror that was free of dirt and marks for a flawless refelection. aslo if you positioned it to reflect the face of the cat that would have been cool. |
