The composition of this is great. I like that the turtle is reflected in the water and it seems he is about to jump in. The ripple in the water adds some needed interest as well.

This is really excellent Brad. There's a pond by my mom's with tons of turtles, and I can't get anywhere near them to get a shot before they duck under so I know this isn't easy. You really nailed a fantastic pic here. The colors of the water are great. Beautiful composition too.

No. . .not really just a turtle. . .it's a perfectly photogrpahed turtle in an awesome scene of soft blue water (and I love the one little ripple in the middle :) For some reason, I love turtle photos, so this really appeals to me! Great job shooting just a turtle!
