The light is too harsh. Try shooting at sunrise or sunset, whenever the sun is lower in the sky. The quality of light is much higher for nature shots at those times. |

I think this is one subject where the blur does not enhance the picture. |

I would have gone higher on this image if the bee was stopped and the backgroud was blurry. 6 |

Nice color combination with the three colors purple, green, and yellow-orange. For me, this would be much more effective if either the bee were in focus or if the entire image were motion blur. Having the flowers in focus and nothing else feels more accidental to me that if it were the other way around. I really like how you've succeeded in framing the bee with the flowers. |

oh, this is opposite from what I hoped from the thumbnail! Blur those flowers and keep that bee in focus and you've got a SHOT!!
As it is, it kind of looks like a mistake - your main subject is blurred - a big problem in most photography. I appreciate you trying to justify it with the title, but a blurred subject when all else is in focus looks like a mistake to me - 3 |
