Critique club Comment,
Hi from the Critique Club.
You know I only heard of Bloody Mary a few weeks ago, I guess it’s not a legend here in Europe. I saw an episode of the TV series “Supernatural” that had this legend in it, and guess what, it worked there, she really came!
You’ve seen that the idea was good, because one of the bloody Mary photo’s in this challenge ribboned. But you also placed very well, congratulations.
There is not much I can say to improve this picture. I can tell you that normaly I am afraid to enter “bad vibe” pictures like this, because some people will vote you down, so I think it’s very brave.
1 little thing is that I would have liked to see the 2nd eye in the picture.
All in all a very good photo,

| watch out for the jaggies on the hand there, try a different resize method perhaps. |

What I liked: I like the eye contact with the camera and the highlights in the eyes.
What I didn't like: I'm afraid I'm not a fan of dark images in the emotional sense or exposure. The light seems very harsh, causing the skin and hair to be more reflective than it should be. I would like to see more detail in the eye especially. |

| the reflection of light in the hair looks weird. maybe over sharpened. its quite distracting like its plastic wig hair. the rest of this is great though. nice work! |

| Very disturbing shot... I like it! The only suggestions I might have had would have been to possibly use levels to help create a more dramatic effect and to possibly double-check the resize settings used. The edge of the hand appears to be quite jagged and might have been caused by the way the shot was resized or saved. Very creative idea! |

| Very nice concept and idea. I think the colours are very nice. But there is some strange compression against the side of her hand that is distracting. and maybe if the writting was higher you could also fit ary in it would be a nice touch I think. |
