 Here goes nothing.
Marbles, glass plate and a rainbow colored backdrop.
I've done this type of thing before here and here.
I couldn't come up with a better idea for this challenge.
Edits : levels - usm - resize - NI - save for web

Nice concept. Great use of colour and reflection. And I think the positioning of the "horizon" behind the balls is just right.

My initial reaction was to think of cropping it more tightly. But on reflection (if you'll excuse the pun) I think not. Maybe just re-crop with the balls slightly further to the right.

The clarity of the reflection and the gradiant background do it for me. Nice sharp shot. One of my favs of this challenge.

The difference of height in the marbles could almost reflect musical notes. Nice gradation of light and colors.

I've been by this image several times and tried to think of something to say. Nothing came to mind but something is missing so I played with it in PS and found that if you boost the saturation, it becomes a little more lively. Flip the image 45 degrees and crop it fairly tightly, and you get rid of the dilution factor. Then play with either levels or with hue/sat and see what happens. It has potential. 6.

I love the simplicity in this shot, just so elequently not trying to be more than it is and that is what makes it work. I am not too fond of the composition though, would have had the "horizon" lower int he frame and the orbs more in the lower right corner if I had taken this, I gave this an 7.
