Congratulations, although I think your shot was hugely undervalued. I have tried to employ similar idea, although not nearly as elaborate and humorous as yours. For some reason my shot came better than yours in voting. But - totally accidental, you are deserving bigger praise and I hope it's coming soon with your next photographs.

Congrats on the top ten! You pulled this idea off well. Not your typical "blurred" background. :P Speaking of which, I like the motion blur of all the kids however the one in the red hood and the girl directly to the right has a sharp edge on their heads which looks a little strange. I probably would have blurred that just a bit but I can see why you wouldn't want to do that for the challenge besides it's not distracting just more of a curiousity. I also like the foreground subject, which is sharp, colorful and well lit so great job making him and the sofa stand out and stand out well. All in all a really cool image.

Hi Margie-

The concept isn't new, but it's still novel enough here to do well. I think it's a brilliant want to depict the perpetual motion of a house full of children and the headache they can cause. Something about the lighting seems slightly off to me, but only just slightly. Look at how white his feet are, the light looks too white. You seem to have found your groove here, congrats!

I'm still not sure how this scored so high. The idea has been used before...and isn't that the shutter remote in his right hand?

I do believe that if I had 8 children rushing about, the day would be a complete blur to me also. Very well done indeed. The blur is well interpreted and definitely one that all of us can appreciate.

LOL! Great concept, well executed. Maybe could've done a little more with the lighting of the subjects in the background.

Great idea! you can really get the idea of the tension going on. Only nitpick would be that there is a sligh Cyan cast. A single Color Balance tweak would clear that right up.

Hilarious! Nice, sharp subject, and the background is stable, too. Conveys the insanity of kids out of control very well. :) 10.

Really cool idea! I also like how you placed yourself right in the middle of the action although some of your shorter characters got lost behind you. But, is that the remote shutter release in your hand? :-p

I think you borrowed the idea from the school teacher picture that was used in one of the last motion blur challenges...I think I have to deduct for unorginiality.
