That's what I thought at first too ... there was a recent thread about a genre of photos where you take a real object/scene and try to make it look as though it was shot with models/props -- this photo is a pretty good example. Nice work!

This almost looks like a toy setup. At first, from the thumbnail, I thought it was. Looks like an interesting event to have witnessed. This image does a nice job of meeting the challenge for 'Motion Blur'. Well done. I'll bet you had some issues trying to figure how to adjust, if at all, the composition to get the main subject off-center. Crop in front of the horse and you lose empty space for the subject to move into. Crop behind the horse and lose the cool dust trail. ;^)

Slightly surreal image. The differential speed of foreground and background subjects does create and unusual photo.

Very cool effect. I think I's like him to be less centered but that's just my taste. Nice use of white and red here. Beautiful horse by the way. 7
