Just a few of my collection of wind up toys. This challenge was much harder than I thought it would be. I still have alot to learn in this area.

Cropped, Exposure Auto Fix, Color Auto Fix, Straighten, Unsharp Mask

I tried tu use fewer post shot adjustments and more time in set up, lighting, etc...

Cute idea, but I would like to see the backgroundekements in clearer focus.

This seems like a good setup, and nice lighting. I almost missed the blur though. It would have been nice to have the motion a little more visible.

I think I would have changed the position of the toys, and box so as not to cut them off so much, and maybe gone with a bit longer exposure.

Nice shot, and great concept.

I think the motion blur here is a little too subtle. It also looks like this is a heavy crop from a larger image, if that's true try getting in closer with your camera, the quality will be better.

I find the box and the other toy really distracting from the main point here. I think you're going for the toy escaping from the box? Darker background to bring attention to the motion of the toy (visually speaking, light toy dark background, you know?)

This is a great idea - I like the creative a lot. Keep shooting this idea and working with it - there's a great photo in there!

This subject is a very good idea. I could image several of these little creatures wound up and running this way and that. It would take some planning and composition.

Good idea - perhaps you should have concentrated on the toy itself.
