Really liked the image and although the blur didn't hit me in the face, it was there nonetheless but obviously not in abundance and certainly not enough for the voters to appreciate as the killer score proved. Unfortunately, I was asked for a verification... I'm assuming because of the white background which I suspect had a cloning question. There was nothing cloned and the white background was due to a very bright sky over the lake. A little lightening and there it was. Anyway, I looked and looked for the original and wouldn't you believe I couldn't find it... so I have to take my lumps I guess. Pity too as I was in contention for the brown without question, go figure... ;0)

I'm missing the blur here?
06/28/2006 07:06:39 PM
Sorry, I don't really see the blur. It is a nice picture though. I like the colors.

I like this capture. The colour is great...the composition excellent...the expression priceless...but for this challenge...not fitting. I am still going to give you a good score because I know that others probably aren't...but personally I feel it does need a stronger motion blur...6.

Not sure this image meets the challenge. Beautiful colors and composition but just wish this had some blur as she moved down the slide.

This is a great shot, but I'm just not really seeing motion blur. Sorry.

motion blur??? great shot otherwise
06/26/2006 07:47:36 PM
where is the blur?
06/26/2006 02:54:06 PM
A strong and dynamic composition. Red and blue makes a bold statement against the white background. But the motion blur is at an absolute minimum and borderline non-existent.

cool shot but don't see any motion blur

Wonderful photo. Colours are nice too. The slide surely has potential for movement. Am leaving a comment but not voting on this one since movment is merely implied.

good composition

Where's the blur?
06/26/2006 08:36:08 AM
I love the color contrast and the white background, but I sense no blur whatsoever. Fantastic composition otherwise.
06/26/2006 08:33:15 AM
aside from the fact that there isn't any blur of any kind, i feel this picture suffers somewhat from the overpoweringly white background - i'm guessing you felt that the original background was too distracting, but this is too heavily applied a fix. 3.

Hate to be one of those DNMC comments but I am failing to see any kind of motion blur?
06/26/2006 06:06:31 AM
Where is the blur?
06/26/2006 02:22:19 AM
She appears totally stopped so t here is little or no motion blur here.
06/26/2006 12:45:18 AM
Hmm...I'm deeply interested to know where the motion blur is here.
