 "A crow on the thatch, soon death lifts the latch"
Just a photo of a crow perched on a log, it's mouth with scavenged food. I find the mouth with those reddish stuff adds a little gore to the overall feel, but I could be wrong. background is just cloudy sky. I disliked the watercolour effect of the background (my Fuji sensor's output), but nothing I could do since it's a Basic Editing challenge.


UPDATE: YES, this photo was edited within the boundary of the Basic Editing rules, and was validated :)
p/s: the eye of the crow is originally blood red, I only upped the saturation a bit.

I am disappointed this did not do better...I thought it was great and I am amazed that this was within the basic editing rules...looked too good.

That's a really disturbing image. It looks kind of unrealistic though, is it a statue or something like that?

I kind of like that it's glowing though, makes it seem like something out of an old Hitchcock film.

I really like the light. Very cool effect. I would like to see the bird with out the red eye though. Not judging on whether or not it would be better - I am just curious!

Nice compo but I'm really suspicious about the editing on this one... The red eyes, the light halo... Anyway it seems to have been validated so i give you 8.
