This is such a cool idea. I love it. I wish the lettering could have come out right side up (I realize it's a function of the optics at work). Very cool idea.

I like the concept. I would have had the newspaper upside down so that you could read the words. Good use of B&W.

A great idea. Unfortunately, the background is so out of focus that I don't get a real sense of there being a newspaper there for the magnifying glass to focus on. Maybe it needs just a little more depth of field. This would bring out more detail of the glass itself, as well, which would add to the shot.

Awesome DOF. I like how the entire shot only focuses on the magnifying glass.

I can't imagine how shallow the DOF had to be on this.

Nice approach. You could crop a bit off the right - the whole column with the black blob in it, as this tends to pull the eye away. I like that you chose to have the lettering appear upside down.

would have been better if the words were rightside up. I like the concept and compoisition though. Even the focus and ligthing are very nice. just put off by the upside down wording.8

the DoF is the thing I'm really fond of in your entry! beautiful B&W-conversion.

You should have flipped the book over so you can actually read the text.
