Urban legend -- Major brands of lipstick contain lead and can cause lead poisoning -- NOT!

not familiar with this legend but a good job with lighting here and the focus is right where it should be. Maybe a little more DOF would be good.

I've heard that with coffee (leaded or unleaded/caffiene or decaffienated), but not with lipstick. Nonetheless - I like your image. Nice angle used, the color works well, and the lighting seems about right. Best of luck in the challenge.

Good clean photo with nice lighting. The angle at which it is shown looks like the lipstick is oddly balance on the lid though.

nice. the lipstick looks so moist i can almost feel it. I would prefer the background wasnt so grey but thats my only complaint.

Doesn't pop enough for me. But don't understand what superstition or urban legend you are trying to sell. Maybe rotate the image a little counter clock wise. Not much just a touch.
