Cool. The rim style and shirt cut indicate that this is actually a modern take. Deeper focus or sharpening may help add to this image by further replicating that nostalgic look.

I like it overall: composition, lighting, and pose.

But it seems a little out of focus.

Also, and I'm new to the whole concept of burning corners, but should the highlighted area be symmetrical around the subject's head? There's more white to the right here.
