 Taken early morning.
Trying to show the still fisherman during a 1.5 second exposure with the moving water behind.

I like the stationary person vs the running water, although I wish the subject was dressed more traditionally like a fisherman.

You've gotten the technical and the abstract issues all working together nicely in order to ensure a great image. I'm convinced. *10*

Do you ever get the idea that as a photographer, we're not much different to fishermen?

Nice shot. The fisherman seats this photo of movement into the theme of the challenge, though the water movement seems awfully strong vs the stationary fisherman.

I understand the contrast between movement and stillness but I think the motion is overpowering

What a beautiful photo. Yes, the person appears to be still but that is just a tiny part of your photo. The moving water takes up most of your photo and when I look at it I do not think "stationary", but rather movement.
