This shot caught my eye because one of the many shots I took for this challenge was of a blue door (in a very different environment). I'm always attracted to brightly colored doors as subject matter. This had a lot of potential for me. I can't recall what my vote was since for some reason it isn't showing up as red on the comment page.
I wish that you had raised the camera just a tad so as to avoid cropping out the top curve of the wall and showing a bit more of the blue pipe (post?). Instead I find myself distracted by that bit of white (a doormat?) at the bottom. There are some kind of blue numbers that catch my eye.
A scene worth going back to shoot at sundown when the walls would really glow with warmth. |

| This is a terrific "almost"! The color and saturation are lovely, the diffused light works well, but the cropping left and top (especially top, where the arch is truncated) are hurting you. |
