 This is a photograph of an abandoned broom made of coconut leaf-sticks.. The sticks of the broom are tied up with ropes. Hence the sticks along with the broom create a manifestation of sense of not moving i.e. stationary. The photograph is unmodified/unedited [with some image processing software]. It has been taken in MACRO mode in our garden. Actually, I have taken the photograph in the morning near about 8 am. But when I make a check of the DPC terms & condition I found that the time[not date] was 12 hours fast that is 12+8 PM was then my camera clock .. Hence I take the picture again in the after noon after setting the current time as the object is stationary.. But I thing something is missing in the later picture which was in that of the first one!

The blurring of background is good,but why do you need to mention why they are statinary...it should be your picrure alone which tells the story.
Anyway better luck next time.

The concept of several small objects being tied together and made stationary is a unique take on this challenge and I think very suitable. The lighting and depth of field in this image is very good and upon revisiting, I've bumped this up to a 6. The picture could have been much stronger if you would have removed the distacting objects on the far right before you captured the image.

Not sure what is tied up. A deeper DOF would help. The cans(?) on the ground(?) are distracting. Good try though.
