Your picture is too small, plus the background isn't helping. Also, it looks like you used the flash. I think tht's why the dog looks like it just woke up. Let's see more pics of this dog in more natural roles... Playing, running, outside. I'm sure you can do it! |

Nice idea, but it loses impact because of its size. Sorry if you've heard that a million times now. Just in case you need it, check out this tutorial. It's a cute little puppy, but the lighting and extreme angle detract from the subject IMO. Perhaps more diffuse light sources would help. |

The tilt on the camera makes it hard to look at, but it depends on how you have your camera oriented to cature the shot..your score may suffer because of it though. Capture the dog from a lower angle would also give more to the photo. |

where do i begin...eye drawn to white door. then i see flash hot spot at lower left, then i see dog. if you had 'it' looking up at you. VIOLA, much better! as it is, this is boring...sorry! |

Out of focus and your casting a shadow in the top left corner.Try shot without flash too harsh of a light or use a softening filter over the flash |
