This is very artistic and elegant. The DP voters can be a bit narrow in their tastes.

The image is lovely, I just don't like the border. The extra black lines distract the eye from the smoothness of the actual picture.

I was expecting to see double digit favs on this one and it's got none. Man, not sure why this scored so low either.

What???, you post amazing flowerphotos on deviantart and get 5.6 in the flower challenge here.
This one was one of my highest rated photos. I love the clarity and lighting here.

Like the feel, agree it's very "japanese" - but maybe a bit more definition on the petals, they are a bit lost with the bright light

This is pretty lighting, but it looks a bit like the lightbeam was added in post. I don't like that part very well. Sorry.

Very soft and pretty. If I were to change anything, maybe just crop out that horizontal branch at the bottom. The blue/yellow combination is sooo lovely.
