Is this actually across the road or is it along the edge of it? I think the color version probably would have been much better because the green of the trees would help your rocks/mud stand out from the background better. |

Although the rock is very prominate in this image, it is hard to figure out what is the main subject of the photo. My eye constantly goes to the background looking for a main subject because there is more contrast there. |

the tonal range in this image looks kinda flat, there could be more contrast to it. Dropping down a little lower might have gotten rid of most of the visible road in the backround. |

Maybe in the next iceage? ;^) Subject is a little dull. Nothing personal, just don't find the image that interesting to look at. I like your choice to use a sepia tone. That helped to minimize the background. Good luck in the challenge. |
