Charmayne, this is stunning! The sharpness is out of this world. I'm glad it has such a nice strong score, but I don't agree with the 50th placing at all! This is so beautiful!

nix the green 'pods' and have pale pink and yellow petals on single stem with black background...you'd have my 10 vote in heartbeart...good luck 8+

Lovely lighting on the flower. Nice dof. Great composition. Really like this one. Color is nice and muted, which works for this particular lighting.

8 - Very nice. Like to see a little more detail in the Queen's petals. The 'wave' of the pad in the background is a nice effect - somehow incorporating more of that, might have given this even more of an edge in my opinion. Like your title.

Good title for this lotus. Oddly enough, I find the background images, because they are so simple and effective, somewhat distracting. Two buds and a seed head. That, with the bloom about to open tells a story, I suppose. 7.
