I'd love to know what plant this is. It is very similar to the blooms of my elephant ear. Because of this I have a great deal of respect for your technique. I tried, unsuccesfully, to get a decent image and couldn't get the contrast right. You've done a great job of representing the texture and light in this image. Nice work!

Well it may look like corn, but I like it. I think it was underated, but c'est la vie. Nice shot IMHO.
