 Okay, so I thought it was a formosa tree.. haha. Thanks for those who informed me it was a Mimosa... now I know :). I am extremely happy with how this placed! My personal best for sure. Thanks for all the nice comments!!!

interesting concepts, nice use of background. I think a little deeper DOF so we can see more of the flower. Just my 2 cents...

Coming back for comment... I gave 4 10's in this challenge and this was one of them. Awesome colors and sharpness. I also love how you can see the colors at the verys tips (reminds me of those filiment lamps). Great job!
